This particular modernist villa was designed in 1934 by architect Victor Broos and is today officially protected as a monument. The villa was restored in 2000. Almost a century later, the building has still preserved its distinctive architectural identity and numerous authentic elements.
The villa is characterized by its special play of in- and outbound volumes, the contemporary form language and the characterful shrine and wrought work. Inside too, functionality was central. The thoughtful layout takes into account orientation, light and air, which makes the various living spaces pleasantly flow together and large windows provide an abundance of natural light.
Throughout the house we discover numerous original details that determine its unique atmosphere: warm wooden floors, characterful doors and wardrobes, special tile floors, ceiling finishes and carefully worked out joinery.
The different living areas feel generous and offer beautiful perspectives to each other and to the outside. The characterful kitchen with its tile and wooden furniture fits perfectly with the architectural identity of the property.
The design also comes to its own outside. The property is surrounded by a spacious green garden with vegetation, where peace, privacy and architecture come together nicely.
