The Kattenbleekstraat combines a central location with silence in a dead end street. The white/black theme has been extended throughout the house: from the white decorative plaster and black windows to the white walls and black accents inside the house. That this has been a quality renovation (2025) can be seen from the materials used: Aluminium with triple glazing, 2 separate hanging toilets, LED ceiling spots, 2 air conditioning units with heat pump technology, etc. On the ground floor the open structure and high ceilings create a cozy atmosphere. The open kitchen with light dome, includes a hob, microwave oven, dishwasher and refrigerator. The floor stairs with their wooden steps on a metal structure accentuate the open aspect on both floors, each with one bedroom (waterproof PVC floors). In the well ventilated bathroom there is enough room for a shower cell (rain function) with glass wall and a sink with mirror cabinet. In terms of storage space we spotted a ground floor storage room and a technical storage room (2nd floor), containing the electric boiler. Electricity, techniques and sewerage were also replaced. The almost perfect official Mobi score of 9.6 out of 10 proves that you can live here perfectly without a car. The Kattenbleekstraat used to be called "Kattenstrate" , but it has been called since the 14th century. They probably let linen dry or bleach in the sun.
