Near the Korenmarkt and next to the green Kortenbachplein, lies in a quiet, for cars dead end street, this house. Notice the high plinth in blue stone (side facade) and the upholstery with vertical slates (back facade). Authentic elements such as the high ceilings (± 3.37 m) and an authentic arc were preserved. The structure of the entrance to the living room was opened. In the living room visible steel beams were used as eyecatchers. The seating area with shutter, provides a cozy sitting area in front, while towards the kitchen there is room for a dining area, close to the open kitchen with light dome. Note the beautiful niches in the wall and the Daikin unit with heat pump technology, which provides cooling and heating. The kitchen includes a hob, dishwasher, oven and hood. Apart from a technical storage room, where the boiler has been disposed of, there is a vaulted basement hidden underneath the living room. The bathroom is spacious, with space for a double sink with mirror, a hanging toilet (shielded) and a walk-in shower with glass wall. The master bedroom on the first floor covers the entire width of the house and features curtain cabinets and laminate flooring. The second floor is fully furnished as a sleeping room, with space for a double bed plus a single bed. The Daikin units also provide cooling and heating in the rooms.
